Birders know accipiters as hawks with broad, round wings and long tails, who often are difficult to identify (especially before they reach adulthood). North America is home to three accipiter species: the small bug-eyed Sharp-shinned Hawk, the larger and blockier Cooper’s hawk, and the huge Northern Goshawk. These 1-inch (25mm) wooden pins feature each accipiter along with its name. They’re made of laser-engraved solid cherry, sustainably sourced in the U.S.
